Antiflocculation suspension is a system that keeps particles dispersed and prevents aggregation by adding a dispersant. This type of system has high stability, prevents settling and agglomeration, and is widely used in ceramic pastes, coatings, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and other fields.

Antiflocculation Mechanism

Electrostatic Stabilization: The dispersant makes the surface of the particles with a higher charge, which enhances the electrostatic repulsion and prevents the particles from aggregating.
Steric Stabilization: The polymer dispersant forms a protective layer on the surface of particles, preventing particles from approaching and aggregating.
Adsorption effect: dispersant molecules form a stabilizing layer on the surface of particles to improve system stability.
